GATX Rail Europe is pleased to announce the start of a new partnership with PERN S.A., Poland’s leading company in oil and fuel logistics. PERN operates an extensive national infrastructure that includes 19 fuel depots with a total capacity of approximately 2.8 million m³.

As part of this partnership, modern GATX tank railcars are used for the transportation of petroleum products, such as diesel and gasoline, between PERN’s storage facilities across Poland. The GATX tank railcars, offering an optimal capacity for fuel transport, were handed over in Kraków and Sławecice in early November.

With this collaboration, GATX Rail Europe strengthens its presence in Poland’s energy logistics sector, a key pillar of the country’s transportation infrastructure.
