Our GATX Rail Europe team had the pleasure of handing over brand-new, lime-green Sgns railcars to Swietelsky. The official handover took place in Sered, Slovakia, where the railcars were inspected before being picked up by the customer.

Strengthening Rail Construction across Austria
Swietelsky joins GATX Rail Europe’s growing customer network, marking the beginning of a promising partnership. Headquartered in Austria, Swietelsky is an internationally active construction company renowned for its expertise in railway construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects across Europe.

The newly delivered railcars will operate mainly in Austria, supporting rail construction sites throughout the network. Designed to transport containers serving as mobile offices as well as spare parts, these Sgns railcars bring flexibility and practicality to the trackside. “It’s a pleasure to welcome Swietelsky as a new partner to the GATX Rail Europe network.
