Every one of our 30,000+ railcars is equipped with a solar-powered GPS unit designed specifically for harsh rail environments. The device reliably transmits geo-location and sensor data worldwide, without requiring an external power supply. For those who need more, the unit can connect via Bluetooth to wireless sensors that capture product temperature or loading status. With ATEX and IECEx certification, the system is approved for use in sensitive environments like petro-chemical loading stations.

Secure and Seamless Integration
All telematics data is encrypted and stored on secure GATX Rail Europe servers in Europe. Customers can access information via our free web portal or integrate the data directly into their own IT systems through paid interfaces.
